Terms and Conditions
To ensure that you have a memorable experience for your next function, the following details are provided for your information to assist in a clear understanding of the venue’s provisions and facilities.
Tentative Booking
A tentative booking can be made and will be held for fourteen days without a deposit. If the deposit is not received, or the venue does not receive confirmation from the customer of their requirements, the date may be released.
Entertainment Booking
In the event that entertainment is required, to secure your booking, the Booking Fee is required as your deposit, and payable when the booking is confirmed. Failure to confirm your booking and pay the deposit on time may result in the cancellation of your booking. The Attendance Fee will be calculated on your estimated numbers, and confirmed by a Senior Staff Member on duty. Staff decision is reasonable and final.
Confirmed Booking
A tentative booking is only considered to be confirmed when the appropriate deposits have been receiveved.
Cancelled Booking
In the event that you cancel your booking the following conditions apply:
Fourteen (14) days prior to the confirmed date we will refund your deposit and any further money paid. Less than fourteen (14) days and more than seven (7) days we will refund 50% of your deposit. We regret that we cannot refund your deposit if you have given less than seven (7) days notice of cancellation.
Contract Agreements
The Uralla Bowlo holds a strong Philosophy in a friendly rapport with its members and their guests. Therefore, we do not formally take out signed contracts as part of the requirements to host a function with us. All arrangement s made for you, and with us are made in good faith, and therefore verbal agreements are in lieu formal written contracts.
Payment of Charges and Fees
Booking Fees—payable on booking
Attendance Fee—payable on the night, in consultation with Senior Staff member on Duty
Bar Charges—payable on the night at the completion of the service.
Cleaning Fee—payable at the Discretion of the Secretary Manager
Other Fee for Service Items—payable two days prior to the event
Catering Charges—50% deposit two weeks prior to the date, final payment made 1 day before the event.
We accept cash or bank cheque, and personal cheques from members only.
Pricing
Every effort is made to reduce the incidence of changes to pricing, however bar prices are subject to small fluctuations and adjustments. If for any reason, there is an unexpected change to any quoted prices of your function, you will be notified as soon as possible and the necessary arrangements will be made.
Final Numbers
We understand that it is very difficult to obtain an exact number of guests, however to adequately staff your function we require approximatee numbers upon booking, and a revision of numbers one (1) week prior to the event date. Final Numbers will be confirmed by a Senior Staff Member on duty. Staff decision is reasonable and final.
Staffing
We will guarantee sufficient staffing to cover the approximate number of guests intimated by you. Should you require additional staff the cost of their wages at a minimum of three (3) hours will be charged to you.
Compliance
All of the following policies are adhered to at all times, and enforceable by staff. All guests of the function are required to comply with the conditions and regulations set out by the following Industry and In-house regulations. Should you require additional information regarding any of the Policies below, or to obtain copies of the documents, please do not hesitate to ask the Secretary Manager, or any of our friendly staff.

Loss or Damage
The event organiser will be held directly liable for any damages sustained to Club property as a direct result of the function and its attending guests The Club holds NO RESPONSIBILITY for loss or damage to items brought into the Club by members and their guests.
Equipment / Decorations
The Club does not permit items to be attached or fixed onto / into walls, ceilings, furniture or glass, unless permission is granted by Management. All equipment and / or decorations brought into the function rooms require prior permission by the Management. Sprinkles, decorations, party poppers etc may used in good faith and all items permitted are to be removed from the premise at the completion of the function.
Room Setup
Room setup will be required to be completed by you with the ASSISTANCE of one staff member on duty. Access is available from 10am, or from 8am with prior arrangement.
When considering the layout and setup of your function, all EXIT doors must be free of blockages, such as equipment and screens and EXIT doors must not be locked, and be clearly visible.
Room Cleaning
General and normal cleaning loads is included in the arrangements of the function. HOWEVER additional charges may apply, at the discretion of cleaning staff and management, if the function has created cleaning needs above and beyond those considered reasonable and acceptable.
Minors
Those persons under the age of eighteen attending your function must be under close supervision of a responsible adult who is also attending, at all times. The curfew for children under age is 10.30 pm on any night of the week. Exceptions may be permitted subject to prior approval from Secretary Manager. Minors are NOT permitted to use the bar, must not consume alcohol and must not enter the gaming lounge.
Catering Requests
The Catering Licensee reserves the right to make all decisions concerning the serving of the food and its allowances, provisions and pricing. The caterers are flexible, and will to the best of their ability accommodate any special requests.
